We want everyone to be able to read and use mainspringdigital.com, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. This page says what we have done, where we know the site falls short, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

In short

Our aim
People can read and use this site with any device or assistive tool.
Standard
We work toward WCAG 2.2 level AA.
Found a barrier?
Email or text us. We aim to reply within 5 business days and send what you need another way.

What we aim for

We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard most accessibility work is measured against. Accessibility is part of how we design and build, not a check at the end, and we keep improving the site as we find problems and as the guidelines change.

What we have done

  • Pages use real headings, landmarks and lists, so screen readers can move through them.
  • Every page is built to work with a keyboard alone, shows where the keyboard focus is, and starts with a link to skip straight to the content.
  • Text and controls are checked for color contrast against their backgrounds.
  • Text sizes follow your browser's text setting, and pages reflow to fit a phone screen without scrolling sideways.
  • Moving and animated parts are decorative and hidden from screen readers. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site keeps them still.
  • Images that carry meaning have text descriptions. Decorative images are hidden.
  • Links to our email and text work with your own email and messaging apps.

Known limits

  • The animated ribbons on the home page need a browser with WebGL. Where it is not available, a still image shows instead and nothing is lost.
  • Pages we link to, such as our Google listing and the websites of our clients, are run by others and may not meet the same standard.

How we check it

We check the site at phone and desktop widths with automated accessibility testing against WCAG 2.2 level AA, and by hand with a keyboard, with motion reduced and with text enlarged. Our last full check, on October 19, 2026, found no automated errors on any page. We have not had the site audited by an outside accessibility specialist.

Tell us about a barrier

If anything on this site is hard to use, email [email protected] or text (828) 407-6813. Tell us the page and what got in the way. You do not need to know the technical cause. We aim to reply within 5 business days, and while we fix it, we will send you the information in a way that works for you.

Sites we build for clients

We build client websites with the same practices. Each business is responsible for its own website and content, and we do not give legal advice or certify that a site meets any law. If you need a formal accessibility audit, we will tell you so and help you find one.
