- What you send us. When you email or text us, we receive your message, your email address or phone number, your name if you give it, and anything you attach.
- Technical data. Like every website, this one receives your IP address, browser and device type and the page you ask for, because your browser sends them to load the page. Our host uses them to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
This site has no forms and no accounts, so it collects nothing else.
How we use it
- Answer your message and follow up about it.
- Prepare proposals, do the work you hire us for, and send invoices and receipts.
- Keep the site working and secure.
- Meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
If you hire us
To build and look after your website, we may handle information about your business and, through your site's forms, about your own customers. That work is covered by the agreement we sign with you, and your site gets its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep information as long as we need it to answer your message, do the work you hire us for, keep business records, and meet legal and tax obligations. After that, we delete it.
Security
This site uses encrypted connections, and we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee it.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it or delete it, and you can ask us to stop contacting you. Mainspring Digital is based in the United States. Information you send us is processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate.

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
