Excavation and residential grading for homeowners in five Western North Carolina counties: we made the logo first, then the cards, the website and its video.
Everything started with the mark. We drew an excavator in Carolina blue and built the logo in stacked, horizontal and icon versions, for light grounds and dark, so it fits a site header, a social avatar and a card alike. On the card it sits on cream with blue contour lines, and the back carries the company's own line: Strong Foundations, Lasting Results. The kit also covers its social pages, with profile pictures and Facebook banners in the same blue.
The site holds together on a laptop, a tablet and a phone, with the same services, photos and free-estimate form on each, laid out for the screen in hand rather than shrunk to fit. The owners set one condition for launch: photos of the two of them on the home page. The site launched with them there.
Cass does seven kinds of work, and the home page lists them in the owners' order: grading, excavation, drainage, retaining walls, site prep, land clearing and driveways. Each one opens its own part of one services page. The five counties it works in, Madison, Buncombe, Henderson, Yancey and Mitchell, come from one record, along with the hours and the way to reach the company, so every page says the same thing.
The owners wanted real work on the site, not stock, so recent jobs appear in the company's own photos. Four customer reviews from Facebook are quoted with the owners' OK, and the facts a homeowner checks first are stated plainly: fully insured, with 10+ years of hands-on work in the trade.
